HeArtbeat conclave, Disability and Art!

Should they be labeled together? Aren’t disabled artists, just artists? And do the artists themselves view this label positively?

V.S. Ramana, is the founder of HeART BEAT Foundation, a nonprofit  organisation that supports, promote and assists specially   abled young and underprivileged artists, by organising events that generate  social awareness, while promoting cultural diversity. He is a Corporate  Communications, PR professional, also holds a Diploma in Cartooning from the ‘Raye Burns School of Cartooning’, Cleveland in USA.

V.S. Ramana will talk about some of the artists of the HeART  BEAT  Foundation, their struggle and resolve, their art and their Never say die attitude. Art by visiting artists K. Narasimhalu, Suvedha Ganesh and  S. Anand will be displayed and there will be an opportunity to interact with the artists themselves.
