Commonwealth Day Observance in Westminster Abbey, London,
to an audience which included the British royal family.
Sharanya Manivannan, poet, author of short stories and a children's book was the guest speaker at the meeting at Folly, Amethyst.

Sharanya spoke of belonging and not; of her journey through India, Sri Lanka and Malaysia and back to India, expressing herself through the written word, which most agreed, was poetic and evocative, suffused with a sensuousness, underlined by her dulcet voice.
